Embrace Neurodiversity

PFHD is proud to present the Embrace Neurodiversity Collection.

Embracing neurodiversity transforms communities, families, workplaces, classrooms, and culture. Embracing neurodiversity empowers people to show up as themselves instead of masking or shrinking to survive. Embracing neurodiversity allows people to exist without apology. Our designs aren’t about pity or pathologizing. They’re about recognition, representation, and pride. And, as always, human decency.

Wear this collection to make a statement, spark conversation, or quietly affirm yourself or someone you love.

CONTEXT & HISTORY: Neurodiversity, a term that promotes equity and inclusion for people with neurological differences, was coined in the late 1990s by Judy Singer, an Australian sociologist who self-identifies as autistic. At its core, neurodiversity acknowledges that there is no single “right” or “wrong” way to think, learn, or be—whether neurodivergent or neurotypical. To embrace neurodiversity is to recognize that neurodevelopmental differences aren’t deficits to fix or cure, but part of natural human variation to understand and support.

While past eras saw neurodivergence through a lens of fear, shame, and stigma, this era rejects those old narratives and the ignorance that sustained them. Today, neurodivergent people can thrive and represent with pride as more of us see through the lens of neurodiversity which calls for society to accept, accommodate, and adapt to neurological variations and appreciate the brilliance and strengths within those differences.
